The menu is limited. I saw thunfish, smiles and then garnel. they make a lot of variations with these seafoods, but do not expect pompano, urchin, eel, or other of the seatangsalat was good, but could be better in los angeles (la), but still good. hakarsuru. Junmai was about the same price as la. a spicy Ebi-Tempura roll was 4 pieces at 6.5 euro. in la would be this roll 8 pieces and $12-15 depending on restaurant. so about the same as exchange rate $1.15 per euro. the restaurant has seating on the street. the road was quiet. service was fast and attentive and well versed in English. only cash. my rating is 3.5 out of 5 stars.
I didn't come to the best start here. to 2120 traveled to order a take away and instead of recovering a hello, I closed kitchen in 10 minutes. I: okay....I can then order Rude staff: if they want me: well, yes, I want, so I am here Rude staff: well I was then handed over a menu. when I tried to choose the guy who tipped his pencil against his pad to hurry. I have made my order and paid the guy took my money without word. I said, my pleasure, he answered with a grin. after the change with the menu, his pad and pencil, my money and the until, to my frighten without his hands he began to prepare for eating. I could go on. but essentially: the rice was over boiled and stodgy the fish in the rolls was too small tuna was not that fresh tempura battery was terrible had no soy sauce wasabi was not real personal were rude about the price I will not go back
We visited the week as a family. we arrived early in the evening and all the tables were booked (it is a small restaurant.) we were offered a table on the basis that it was reserved in an hour. we were served quickly and the food was very good. I understand the comments about the cool of the service, but it was fast and efficient. atmosphere felt authentic and the whole family enjoyed it. Remember, they only accept cash no credit cards etc.
Sushi was ok but nothing special. Few dishes were quite dry. What annoyed me was the service part. The couple behind the counter were almost rude and it seemed that customers were more a nuisance to them. Wouldn't recommend Katana Sushi for anyone because the...lack of service.
