Late afternoon we had very nice tea and cakes by the canal. The service was brusque especially when we asked for milk with the not creme with the tea. She lightened up when we had a joke about something. The toilets are down stairs and you then see that there is another very large seating area. View all feedback.

at a hamburgtag we visited this cafe before the bucerius forum, the tables at the front of the window are strangely narrow and attached around the heating. then we waited until I finally complained.My tomatensuppe was great; the coffee specialities were good. View all feedback.
Delicious homely breakfast. Staff very communicative and what is the best apple pie is the best in the city ofc with yummy whipped cream.
Good food, friendly staff and decent value. Loads of seating downstairs. Nothing to complain about and apple strudel was great.
The cakes are ok for most of them, but the apple cake was nice and fresh. The drinks are ok, but you can get better in coffee chains. The service was quite slow and uncaring about the customers. Overall not worth a visit compared to what else the area has to offer.
If they are somewhere near the former or the rat house, they should definitely stop for a cake and coffee, any kind of drink that is served there, and there is a great choice. the cakes are large and varied. the outside area under the arcade is a great place to watch people. if they prefer, they can go down and enter where there is a very quiet inside area. if they love cake, they should not miss this place.
Central caffe, where you can enjoy delicious cakes! When you go there on Saturdays or Sundays, you will find an impressive selection of cakes in different flavors and shape - really all very well. the prices are absolutely affordable and the client is very colorful mixed. from the tables outside you have a magnificent view of the Rathaus - it is located directly below the arcades that surround it - while there is a very pleasant atmosphere in the bottom. very clean, elegant and tasteful environment. as snack or breakfast very recommended.
