The ubercute Deichstrasse is a must to in your Speicherstadt historic visit. This restaurant offers mostly traditional food like Matjes for instance. The group had different lebmvels of luck in ordering the food. The food that was deep fried seemed to have old oil giving...it an unpleasant zing to it. The nonfried fishes are more recommended. Friendly and helpful staff

A very nice dining experience in one of Hamburg’s institutions. Honest food well prepared, no frills or fanfare, just plain and simply good traditional food. I d go back here

They salt their food immensely. Herring not good at all, trying to compensate flavours with red onions. Also slow service. Had to pay in counter after eating
