All coffee drinks with milk come standard with plant-based milk, although cow's milk is available upon request. During the summer, the outdoor plaza is a popular gathering spot, while in the winter, guests can cozy up on the back sofa inside. For hungry visitors, the vegan salmon bagel or antipasti bagel with homemade hummus, grilled eggplant, zucchini, and sun-dried tomatoes come highly recommended. As for drinks, you can't go wrong with a fresh beer or a strong cappuccino with a double shot of espresso. The owners, who hail from the now-closed rock'n'roll bar Cogge in St. Pauli, are cool and friendly. The music playlist ranges from punk to reggae to hip hop to electro, depending on who's working that night. (Updated review as of October 19, 2021)
A welcoming and relaxed vegetarian café that serves Bagels during the day and transforms into a bar at night. All milky coffee drinks are made with oat milk as standard, with cow's milk available upon request. In the summer, the plaza in front of the café is bustling with people, while in the winter, you can cozy up on the sofa at the back. If you're feeling peckish, I highly recommend trying the vegan salmon bagel or the antipasti bagel with homemade hummus, grilled eggplant, zucchini, and crushed peanuts. For drinks, you can't go wrong with a fresh beer or a strong cappuccino with double shots of espresso. The owners are friendly and laid-back, many of them originally from the now-closed Rock 'n' Roll Bar Kogge in St. Pauli. The music played at the café ranges from punk, reggae, hip hop to electronic, depending on the bartender.
The waffles and bagels at this restaurant are incredibly tasty and made with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend trying the liz brownie!
