We have been coming here for breakfast for years. It is our go-to spot in the winter when we are planning our vacation to the sunny south and need a place to talk about plans over coffee. The staff are always friendly, the portions are just right and the coffee is always good. I see why they have been in business for over 50 years. What Torrance Kiehn doesn't like about Georgeview Open Kitchen:
I dont see how its SO difficult to make toast!!!! They are painting now but this place needs a full overhaul! Toast is always like this....always! I'm not sure why they thinks it's good enough to send to a customer!? Anyways there are many other...places in town to est better quality food for WAY less (for example what we paid almost $30 for in there we paid less than $20 at Ares!! Amazing food and service. The best place to eat in Georgetown, put your hands down. Large portions and still the old school Diner Vibe. The open kitchen area is super cool! A must try when in G-Town. Type of meal: Brunch Price per person: CA$10–20

This restaurant always serves delicious meals. The wait staff is very friendly. I dined in for lunch and the price per person was CA$10–20. The food and service both received a rating of 5, while the atmosphere was rated 3. I recommend trying the Roast Beef, Fries, and Club Sandwich.
Really good quality food at super reasonable prices. The choice between fried or grilled home fries is perfect. I got the Canadian omelette and fried homefries which were lovely and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Overall great vibe. Friendly staff. Good amount of parking available.
