The first thing that you'll notice at Tawa Grill is the mouthwatering scent of spices in a hot pan. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about - too-bright diner with easy-to-wipe tables and chrome chairs. BUT the food! My goodness, delicious. My favourites - perfectly creamy palak paneer, nicely spiced lamb, and channa masala. Even a mango lassi. We did takeout and the food was fresh and fast. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tawa Grill:
Went to the lunch buffet with a few co-workers and we were all very disappointed as the food was not fresh; it seemed liked reheated food from the previous day. Chicken was dried out and most of the curries were bland. The restaurant could use a bit of TLC and the service was ok. Won't be going back any time soon. View all feedback.
Spending the day on the waterfront and found this fabulous place. Highly recommend Tawa Grill! Friendly wait staff and large portions of perfect Currys.

I ate at this restaurant/grill for the first time, just last week. I was very pleased with the foods and which were delicious. You can order spicy or not spicy. I tried both as a group of us were at Tawa for supper. They offer traditional foods such as Combo plates with or without meats. Vegetable and meat curry dishes, as well as vegetarian dishes. There are also sandwiches and wraps for those who dare not try Indian food! I will certainly go back to Tawa for dinner soon, I enjoyed the foods and the owners are very friendly and helpful. This restaurant is located near Keiths Brewery at 1496 Lower Water Street. They offer Take Out, Dine In and Catering. Delicious foods.
