Love this place. It is a perfect neighbourhood restaurant. Great prices and home-style food, cooked well, and the owners are a delight and on site every day. Part of the Chebucto Inn, it open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nothing fancy, but a good atmosphere, clean and relaxing. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Lady Hammond Bar & Grill:
prettig located bij ons motel. eten is niet genuine bijzonder maar as je 's avonds om negen uur aankomt na een long vlucht en restaurant en bar zijn nog open, is dat ook wat waard. scherp geprijsd, daar kan in een grote stad bijna geen restaurant tegenop. we hebben zowel ontbijt as a diner here nuttigd. het eten smaakt goed maar is niet bijzonder. goede service. We had breakfast at the Lady Hammond Grill this morning. We have eaten here before and have always enjoyed our meals. This morning we each had the vegetarian omelet, which comes with toast and home fries. All this for only $6.74 each. Coffee is bottomless and costs only $2.17 a person. Our waitress was attentive and came back to our table to make sure we were happy and for coffee refills. Good service and good food.
We ate at Lady Hammond Bar and Grill during our stay at Chebucto Inn and while the restaurant itself is very dark, the gentleman who greeted us upon entering more than made up for the appearance of the place, he was a ray of sunshine, so pleasant, prompt and extremely friendly, he made us feel like family. I ordered the striploin steak which came with a started turkey soup which was hot, fresh and divine, the steak dinner soon followed, it was served with both a caesar salad as well as mashed potato, both of which were a hearty serving, all parts of the dish were prepared properly, served at the correct temperature and well seasoned, by far one of the best steak dinner I have eaten, the steak was tender, juicy and cooked perfectly to my preference and the pricing was very reasonable at $40 for my family of 3.
This restaurant is part of the Chebucto Inn. We stayed there for 2 nights. We had breakfast there and it was very very good! Eggs cooked just right, toast, bacon, home fries (I asked for a little fried onion and they were super good) and coffee. We were pooped on Canada Day and the restaurant we wanted to go to in the city was closed, plus it was foggy and raining so we decided to eat dinner here. We each had a burger and fries. The burger was very good, the fries could have been a bit crispier...small portion but good cole slaw. Excellent service for breakfast, ok for dinner, Very reasonably priced. Overall, this place seems to serve good, basic food; local crowd with good pricing.
, the portions became smaller and smaller!!! I had the pan of fried Schellfisch. The fish was very salty and the potatoes taste like 3/4 days old. The so-called salad they put on the plate discussed. I never tasted that. Breakfast here is fine, but again, do not expect to leave full!
Breakfast is great. Fresh food very well cooked. My wife and I both enjoyed it immensely. For about $6 it was a good way to start a Sunday!
