What User doesn't like about Le Colisee:
This restaurant looks as if is a class restaurant, but the truth is: it is not. The staff is friendly on a distance and they don't make you feel at home. The food is average and the wines ok. What is normal in France that they start setting the tables for the next day even when there are guests. I don't like it but I know it's France. But in this restaurant they even started to take take all the table decorations etc... View all feedback.
When we walked through the city, we were looking for food somewhere and we needed something special little one, as we had a wedding in the early afternoon. So I wondered the pictures on the reviews here and thought why not and I was very satisfied when she made my son creamy gnocchi instead of tomatoes gnocchi and because of an annoyed belly. So we got super cheesy and creamy gnocchi delicious my boy couldn't finish but we were more than happy to help clean the dish! I had the salad you pêcheur with was a wonderful mix of different seafood. It was a beautiful tasteful salad; not too heavy, not too easy. Only enough if you are not too hungry, but still a little or maybe even like me: on a diet! My husband had the carpaccio, which was nicely served on the square, full of taste and colors and not a bit of fat at all. The only thing I wasn't too excited was the waitress's outfit that wore her with a full gym tripper/body suit that just didn't stick to the aesthetics of the place. unlike that, the welcome was warm, the staff very polite and the prices are very reasonable, highly recommended and if I ever go in the area again period
Le Colisee has just changed management and seems to try to find his feet. The food is very good, but not in any case consistent, so if you are a group of people who will order the same You see all varieties that the kitchen can come, the service is nice and friendly, but not that professional or attentive and the wine list is limited and not so good.

We've dined in several other restaurants in the same town, and found this to be the best value for money for food and experience.
Last night with friends. we all had a nice time and especially well eaten. for me I took the Saint-Jacques with fresh tagliatelles. excellent. nickel cooking. in dessert real ice balls I say real balls because in some restaurants the balls are just a cylinder so little matter) with whipped (small perso message to the bosses: make your homemade whipped (syphon) that is so much better I advise you this beautiful address to eat at reasonable rate. I'll probably be back. See you soon.
It's been a long time since I hadn't returned to that restaurant. So I went to dinner with friends on Saturday night. the room is beautifully decorated and bright. the mourning and service are irreproachable. I tasted a meat (steak calabrese that I didn't know, and it was a very good surprise. original and very good. dessert was as appetizing and copyy: short, very good impression. I'll come back to taste other splats. The only two flats are the very noisy coffee machine in the dining room and the very basic beer served with the picon.
