I was there on Saturday, 29.7.17 with my parents/family for dinner. quiet laage in the forest area. we had reserved what is absolutely recommended. the ambiente indoor is very beautiful. lots of wood, stylish deko, indirect light. we were served top, had to wait and eat for nothing long despite well visited locally and have dessert fully fulfilled our expectations. extra wishes (reflective on the house of schnitzel)... We were in a bigger group to dinner on a workday there. after the main course was not asked proaktiw for desert or coffee. When we wanted to order another thing at 22:10, it was said that the kitchen was closed and the coffee machine was already cleaned and off. no word of excuse. as a long-term customer, it is now for us: never again!
We were eating 6 people on a Tuesday. the restaurant was well occupied. there is a very tasty bourgeois kitchen. very nice attentive staff. very recommended, with beautiful weather it is very nice to sit outside.
Saturday night approx. 17:45 o'clock. arrival on a carved needles and thanks to the continuous rainy parking space. We're not gonna let this happen. So go to the house and go into the human restaurant.Then the question occurred if we had reserved what we deny. this is not understandable for the employed - probably all students with a side job. the old man in the lilac pullover behind the tresen, probably the owner of the inn, points to 2 stalls with table, a ensemble that he probably stole his grandson, and smiles smiling. a schoolgirl is more on the wire and says, table 22 is free until 20:30. Unirrected by the unharmed behavior of the old man, we take place.The entire impression is good, old planks, rough wood tables and good chairs. the pupils all in bistro apron. we thought.Selected: 1 glass montepulciano and 1 small büble beer. I as an appetizer a potato dip suppe. small glass balls approx. 0.2 l for 6 euro. for that was bloodworst in - unfortunately with cartilage. my wife's main dish: heaven and earth. the bloodworst was bleeder, the purest was more of a **** and tasteless, the compott ice cold and the wobbles at best bought red.I had the almsteak medium with bratkartoffeln. I guess they were out of the bag. the steak on a side well fried and 2/3 through, then briefly turned and heated. Conclusion: but unfortunately we tried the same problem as in most nrw scenes. all the cooking shows do not help to distinguish between medium or worse from good as long as the prices are high and the owners are arrogant. I say thank you, but no thanks.
You feel comfortable in the cozy ambiente. the tables are very clean and discreetly decorated. the personal is attentive and extremely friendly. eating was pretty dressed and appealing, has tasted very well. the prices are at a very normal level. the toilets were also visited - all picobello and especially for women a great service.....Look at yourself. we recommend this house.
