Casual Habana Cafe - Hackensack

The food was delicious. The host, Matthew recommended the special margarita (dragonfruit) and it was so good. Our server, Jason was very attentive and also made some great recommendations. We will definitely be back!

I go to this place often and let me tell you to be a small spot , the food and drinks are amazing and on point, the ambience is romantic if you happen to get a table, the staff are respectful and kind, most of all fast and polite, I love absolutely love there empanadas and sauce with a twist of lime and the bathrooms are clean, and I think it is a great place for family or a romantic date!!!! I give it 5 stars

I was quite impressed with my experience at this establishment. I am a huge fan of Cuban food and was excited to try this place. Upon looking at the menu, I did not see a Cuban sandwich which is usually the go to order for me. This did worry me at first, but they had plenty of other menu options that more than satisfied my craving. I had the pulled pork roasted on the Frying pan which came with 2 sides, I got dirty rice, and french fries. The main dish was delicious. I was torn between the two pork dishes, but I am glad I picked this one as it was very flavorful. The lime went perfectly with it, and I mixed it with the dirty rice. I also want to praise this place for doing free soda refills. This way, I was able to comfortably eat my food without worrying about rationing my soda so keep it up! The service was quite good as well and we did not need to call our server over once. The appetizer empanada was pretty good as well, but the main course was the best part for me. The only complaint I really have was that the portion of fries was quite small. I know it is a side of fries so not necessarily required to give me a mountain, but this was not that much. The fries were delicious, just could have used more of them. Other than this, I was quite happy with my experience and would for sure come back.

Food and vibes were great. Christina was a great server and very attentive to us.
