We occasionally stop by this restaurant when we’re passing through, and I noticed you’ve replaced the old carpet! The place looks much better now! I've always enjoyed the salad and soup bar. I’ve seen some reviews mentioning that the soup bowls and salad plates are too small, but I disagree. They seem just right for when your meal is delivered. Steaks, where a little over boiled, but do not send back after how long it took to get out. Where one of the first in the house and one of the last to get food. The service was fine, but could climb a notch. Everyone is beautiful and a little dated decor. All in all, not to stop a bad place.
Stopped by on our way up north. Ordered a steak, BLT, grilled cheese, and steak fingers. Everything was delicious. The gravy for my steak fingers was thick and flavorful. My husband enjoyed his steak like man who hasn't had steak in months (he had some last week). My daughters favorite part of the BLT was the choice of grilled zucchini. She gobbled that down super quick. And my son's grilled cheese was on fresh texas toast with 2 slices of REAL cheddar cheese. Good food in a small town .
It’s hard to find a good steak in these small towns. This place has the ribeye dialed in. Great quality meat cooked with a sear on the outside and warm on the inside. A perfect medium rare, most places come out medium to medium well when I ask for medium rare
My wife and stopped for lunch today. The food was GREAT! Chicken fry was excellent! Steak and coconut shrimp were PERFECT. Steak was outstanding! The coconut shrimp was SUPERB! This is still the BEST RESTAURANT in the Panhandle!
