My first restaurant experience in Assam and it was good. Enjoyed their ambiance and delicious preparations. Authentic Assameese thali, I went for the Mutton option, with great other accompaniments. The only missing thing is a faster service. I understand food takes time to prepare, but a glass of water shouldn't! The only area of improvement remains that. Otherwise,a must visit place of you're in Guwahati. View all feedback.
Best for Assamese thali. If you want to have authentic Assamese thali, it is the best place. One of the oldest hotel in Guwahati. I've been to this place since I was a kid. I love the fish tenga and the aloo pitika.
We ordered 2 thalis, 4 Puris n mix veg. It took them ages to serve the puri n veggies so much do that my son entered the kitchen to check. Thankfully the food was good.
Great experience overall and would highly recommend this place for someone who wants to try Assamese thali

We had Parampara thaali (served on bell metal)and Vyanjan thaali (served on Steel plate) which had variety of items in it. The best item from the thaali is the Steamed fish and duck curry tastes really good. Please find the attached pictures of food and ambiance.

The cooking medium is mustard oil. The subtly flavoured fish tenga is a beloved of the crowd. It has a nice tangy taste to it. If you are at Paradise, you got to try their signature dishes.
