Always a joy to visit this cafe; good manners always greeted by good manners in return. Gorgeous carrot cake and hot chocolate after a cold walk.
A group of us went upstairs for a meal, but there were so many dogs 2 near us were being aggressive to each other. What would be a lovely cafe is ruined by animals around when you are trying to have a relaxing drink and meal. Can't understand why people can't leave their dogs at home for a short while? If upstairs was made a dog free zone, we would return.

We had a wonderful lunch in the excellent little restaurant last week. The sandwiches, soup and sausage roll were all home cooked and delicious. The service was impeccable and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
The food was really tasty, coffee was great. Service was the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars. It might be that the lady serving us was shy reserved, but she came across somewhat rude. Definitely recommend the pancakes!
