Oajillo - Guanajuato

Arrived to a high spirit rooftop restaurant with a group of five people.. Entering the restaurant we were greeted by David's welcoming and friendly energy. For drinks we had the iced matcha late, iced late and the the flavorful Irish frap (definitely recommend) For breakfast we had chicken poblano chilaquiles, red sauce chilaquiles and huevo a la mexicana and a scrumptious poblano omelette. Service was on point, food was served hot and timely and the drinks were refreshing. We will be returning for drinks and a nightcap stay tuned.

Great food and atmosphere. The service was excellent with friendly and prompt service. The view was beautiful on the Terrance with calming music and friendly vibes. The food was delicious. Affordable tapas and the pasta was seasoned well. As a chef I tend to nitpick things but I didn't find a thing wrong with this place. Mauricio was also very friendly and gave us great insight on other places in GTO. Overall I am absolutely happy about my experience here and if you're ever in GTO make a stop here and enjoy it for yourself. Buena comida y ambiente. El servicio fue excelente con un servicio amable y rápido. La vista era hermosa en Terrance con música relajante y amigable. vibras. La comida era deliciosa. Tapas asequibles y la pasta estaba bien sazonada. Como chef, tiendo a ser quisquilloso, pero no encontré nada malo en este lugar. Mauricio también fue muy amable y nos brindó una gran visión de otros lugares en GTO. En general, estoy absolutamente feliz con mi experiencia aquí y si alguna vez estás en GTO, haz una parada aquí y disfrútalo por ti mismo.

Great noon time spicy margarita. Friendly staff. We split cheese enchiladas verde. Also had sangria. Thumbs up.

We went to a lot of places for drinks and food in Guanajuato, but Carcamanes 17/Oajillo was our favorite! You get a fabulous specialty cocktail for $4 and it comes with a tapa! Who ever heard of something so amazing? Not only that all the food we tried was delectable! However, our personal favorite thing was chatting with the super friendly bartender/ hotel owner. We even came in a little past closing and he was kind enough to still serve us. The staff in total are wonderful as well. I can not recommend this place enough.
