What Craig I doesn't like about National Detroit-style Pizza Day:
One of the worst experiences I have had at Buddy's Our party of 10 visited tonight for dinner. It took 45 minutes for the staff to deliver 2 cups of soup. The meals were over an hour. The place was 1/2 full and there were many waiting for a table. It took multiple requests from the manager to deliver the food. What a disappointing experience. View all feedback.
This is a staple restaurant for good pizza and things! It's a cozy comfort spot and I particularly enjoy eating at the bar. I always order the chicken tenders, house salad and pizza. Thank you Buddies, xo.
Oh my I believe we have found a pizzeria away from home.. so any time you 're in Farmington Hills Michigan make sure you stop by! I got their lunch special Buddy 's Express and let me tell you I was sooo full! This is just a picture of the antipasto salad .. soo good and fresh! I 'll most definitely be back.. service was great and the atmosphere is right on from a girl from The D (Detroit) and also they have Vernon 's on tap! If you 're not from Detroit you wouldn 't understand my excitement when I saw that!
Buddy Pizza is great Novi Buddy Pizza Farmington Buddy Pizza If you want a good Detroit style try these two locations.

This was bad. I 've been coming to this Buddy 's location since I lived in the area when I was in middle school 40 years ago. So it makes me sad to write this... We called ahead on a Saturday afternoon to try and get a reservation. We told the hostess how many people we had coming 10). They told us we needed 24 hrs prior notice to a reservation but that the wait shouldn 't be more than about 30 minutes if we came around 7pm. Had 4 adults and 6 kids. None older than 14. As young as 6. No problem. Our group showed up ~630. We put our name in. The hostess said it would be around 40 minutes. Text message we got said the same. Ok. Got it. Waited for 40, manager approached and said hey we are working out your table. Thanks for waiting. We are sorry. Etc... cool. Around 720 when we finally were about to be sat the hostess said oh, by the way... it 's going to be an hour wait for pizza. Uh, what? Excuse me, WHY didn 't you tell us that before? Well I just found out. Oh no no no. I 'd like to speak to your manager. Kids are starving. Wives are getting crabby. Holiday weekend. You get it. Ok, I 'll tell him. attitude) I sat waiting for another 15 minutes at the hostess podium. Staring at where the manager was placating another table. He never looked up. Never came over. We gave up. We left. Not coming back. Neither are my cousins. This place should be ashamed. We are supposed to wait 2 hours with young kids for your Detroit style pizza that has gone down hill steadily)? No thanks. You are no longer our Buddy.
