I have been in Grottammare many times and there are many restaurants right on the beach. Most of them are big and serve a lot of people, this is a small one and you can see from the quality of their food! Genuineness, simplicity, friendliness, I always feel at home!!!
I spent 3 days at the beach in Italy and had lunch with friends at this open air restaurant. Fish and seafood are the highlights and we ordered different things every day just so we could try as many of the offerings as possible. Our waiter Martin was extremely helpful (he's been there for over 10years). He suggested the things that were easily shareable so we could all try everything. Pasta and pizza were also featured and we had to try those as well. There is a great selection of wines from wineries in La Marche as well as great local beers.
Only a simple cafe at the back of the beach, Andrea's supplies an Umbrella and Lounger service backed up by simple food and surprisingly inexpensive drinks. All served with a smile.
