Brücken had a close cult here in griffith. if they ever find on the community Facebook page on the search for good restaurants for almost any kind of art of.
I loved it the first time I had eaten there! the burger was fantastic and I couldn't stop fleing about it. the second visit was not so good. they have run out.
The first time and probably the last! we ordered the whole catfish dinner and the barsch dinner. it took an hour and thirty seven minutes from the time we ordered.
Usual restaurant was closed so we tried Bridges on a recommendation. It was Friday, about 4:15 pm. Got in, got a table for 5 no problem. Ordered, and the iced tea was plentiful and generous. We specified separate checks, placed out dinner orders, said grace and simply enjoyed each others company while waiting. Apparently our orders were semi forgotten in the kitchen, some orders were cooked and brought late, barely warm, some were simply forgotten. One fish order was actually brought to the table and then returned to the kitchen with no explanation but we assumed there was a reason for it. After 45 minutes to an hour I had to leave, I asked for my order to be brought in a box to eat later. Waitress told me it had been forgotten in the kitchen. Check for the entire party was given to me. We sorted it out. We may have hit them at a bad time, will try one more time later.
So sad to say we won't be back to this restaurant again. Our simple pepperoni pizza came out almost forty minutes after we ordered, which wouldn't have mattered as much, if tables who ordered after and more hadn't gotten their food first. Once we did get it, the crust underneath was soggy, the crust on the sides incinerated, and full of holes and air pockets. THE OWNER told me he couldn't take the whole pizza off because we had eaten some.. and didn't want to even discount it at first and then said he would give us a small discount?! Horrible customer service. We were shocked, as we have never encountered that at Bridges. His attitude and lack of regard coupled with the horrible pizza was enough for us to never go back. We can find other local places to take out business. Our waitress was really great, which was the only saving grace.
