Description

**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Delights**

Nestled in Gresham, this restaurant is renowned for its fantastic sandwiches, served on homemade bread and generously portioned—often enough to feed four. However, while these creations shine, the rest of the menu falls short, with many dishes criticized as overcooked and lacking flavor. The desserts receive praise for their indulgence, yet the prolonged wait times to place orders detract from the overall experience. Despite these shortcomings, the restaurant remains a solid choice for sandwich lovers, though diners seeking a well-rounded meal may want to explore other options nearby.

This place has amazing home style meals. The portions are huge, and everything We've tried so far has been amazingly delicious. I recommend that you try it yourself.

This food makes you weep. The bread variety is delish. Fresh food. Reasonably priced. Fun wait staff... You won't leave hungry.

Great for Gresham, good for Portland. Portion sizes are incredibly generous. A half sandwich is hard to finish. The pie selection is pretty incredible. Expect to wait. Unfortunately, the wait isn't necessarily worth it. Their portions are hugebut in terms of flavor, it's just okay. Their little entrance hallway is like purgatory. I've been here a few times and it'snever been less than 15 minutes before staff acknowledges you. Then after your meal they send you back to the purgatory hallwayto pay.

Awesome huge sandwiches on homemade bread! A half is about all I can eat. I've heard most everything else they serve is good too but I can't pass up the Reuben. The desserts are pretty spectacular too, you can gain 5 lbs just looking at them. I highlyrecommend The Truffle Hunter.

Their sandwiches are fantastic—generously sized, well-priced, and could easily feed four people. I’d give the sandwiches a separate 5-star rating. However, I gave the restaurant 3 stars overall because everything else is often overcooked, bland, and overpriced, especially the salads. Additionally, the wait time, even for takeout orders, is unreasonably long. If you’re after an excellent sandwich, this is the place to go. For anything else, I recommend Heidi’s down the street.
