Our server was a bit slow, and we wanted to raise the black curtain to get a better view of the lake, but our waitress informed us that this wasn't allowed. Despite that, we all enjoyed our meals. I had the Monte Cristo and loved it. My friend had the brisket sandwich, which she liked, and the third meal was a crispy chicken sandwich that she also enjoyed. All the dishes were fresh and crispy. I've been here at least a couple of times, and I have to say the atmosphere and view are stunning. However, there's a recurring issue with the service that needs to be addressed: first, customers are seated and served their initial round of drinks. I would rate this restaurant 4.6 stars. There's always room for improvement, but overall, I think this place is fantastic. I hadn't been here in years and noticed a lot of positive changes. The food was excellent—kudos to the chef! Our waitress, Nikki, provided outstanding service. The ambiance here feels warm and inviting, almost like a family home. Keep up the great work!

Had a piece of brillo pad in my salad and mentioned it to server and she brushed it off as no big deal. Can mushrooms and bag iceberg lettuce. Not impressed!
I’ve been debating posting this review but I really want the owners to know that first impressions make a difference. It was my families first time going to Turk Lake after hearing good things. Sad to say it will be our last. We arrive and we are one of two tables in the entire establishment. We are greeted with someone telling us to take a seat anywhere. We find a nice large booth and go sit at it. Our server (I believe her name was Amy) eventually comes over and passive aggressively says “So actually this section is closed……. Kinda why the lights are off”. Wouldn’t have been such a big deal to move had she been apologetic and asked us. But the rudeness was just too much. We move seats to a much smaller booth. We place our order and shortly after it is delivered to us. Our appetizer never arrived so we asked if we were still getting it. Our server said “Oh” and disappeared for a minutes, bringing back very undercooked deep fried pickles. No apologies (sensing a pattern here), she sets them down and mentions she doesn’t know how that was missed. Food was alright, same Gordon’s stuff you find everywhere around here but overall no complaints about our meals besides the pickles (Although I assume they’d be better if not rushed due to them being forgotten). But the lack of service was just too much for us to want to give the restaurant another try for a while.
