Gus Streetside Cafe - Greenville

Ate there sunday,1-17-16. Had turkey and dressing. The dressing was not cooked, tasted like water in it. The turkey or whatever it was was all dark meat with grissels in it. That's the second time it was like that so I have learned my lesson and won't go there again and won't recommend it to anyone. Dee Ellis

Stopped by on Sunday between the 10am church and the 11am one. Looks like the first crowd left and the second one right behind us. Seating was slow probably because they thought we were part of the checkout line. Bathrooms clean looking but smelled like the crowd just went through. Service fast and friendly. Excellent! Prices cheap. Choices of 6 meats/entrées with 3 veggies was $7.60. With 2 was 7.10 and also had one. We both had turkey and stuffing. Definitely real but nearly all dark meat. My side cucumber salad and sweet potato wedges were excellent as were her green beans. Her mashed potatoes tasted packaged. Overall great service and prices but entrées average and place needs work.

My husband and I love this place. The menu offers enough variety to keep it interesting if you burn out on the meat and three offerings. The food and service are both very consistent. Prices are great, and staff is friendly. Food is very much homestyle, which is great! Love it! We most recently visited during a trip home, and after six years away it was just like we remembered. Before moving, we would sometimes eat here twice a day.

Love Gus' like family fast and hot good home cooking my family have grown up at Gus they and now their children awlways enjoy ther meals and time here. when i was sick in the hospital my daughter stopped at gus to get me the soup i wanted they made it for me and offered to make anything i could eat i f not on menu they offered to make it for me can,t say enough good about the restaurant and the people who own it. thanks for being like family.

We stopped for a quick dinner enroute to Atlanta. Very quick service, and my salad was large with fresh ingredients. The chicken was okay, and my spouse's French fries and steak cheese sandwich looked average. The menu had a lot of choices and was flexible. Nothing upscale, but appeared to be a nice, neighborhood restaurant.
