The malbec reduction on the steak was the best I've ever had. I ordered the New York strip, and I was pleasantly surprised by how tender it was—just as delicate as the more expensive tenderloin would have been. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ironrock Tap House:
We were there when you first opened...and was 5 star the whole way.... last night, food was ok...definitely not bad-just ok. My Moscato was flat, crab cakes ok....hey we all have an off night....service was GREAT and the ambiance was as well... Thank you for taking the time to check in with your customers... It was an excellent first experience. The service was amazing, the food was cooked perfectly, all courses were nice proportions.
We were disappointed in the range of new menu selections, the much higher prices, the new computerized drink system quality, poorly trained waiter, and the arrival of our entree 1 minute after our salads. We've gone to Iron Rock for several years and were quite happy with the experience. However, Iron Rock is now on probation.
They have a very wide variety of beers on tap, a huge cocktail list, and lots of wines. The menu is hand-crafted and also describes where all the local fresh food comes from that is on the menu (i.e. meat comes from a local butcher shop, etc. . 2nd time there and was just as good as the 1st time. Very good ambiance as well!
It has changed so much from what it was when it first opened. it gets more and more expensive for the food that is not worth the price. $57 for a steak that is not better than a $30 steak at longhorn. everything keeps changing. salads come out after the meal. management is terrible. the owners are understanding and our waitress was the only thing that kept our experience from being awful. which is a shame because since they opened that’s where i prefer to eat around here. the atmosphere is amazing and there is nothing like it around here, so please go back to a better chef who wants to make ur items better not change the place, and the management needs to be someone who actually cares.
Very expensive for sub par food, very slow service for it being not busy like it usually is.
