Machete - Greensboro

Honestly, it is the best restaurant in Greensboro right now for tapas-style high-end food. The staff is super knowledgeable and the service is fantastic. The food and drinks however are incredible, the food has such dynamic flavors that all blend in aperfect medley of taste and desire. The drinks, just like the food are so artfully crafted and thought through with anincredible balance of flavor and bite. Try the brown butter Calvados or the smoked Manhattan, they are tooooooo die for.. Ugh???????????? Recommended 10/10

Very unique and delicious meal, loved sharing everything. Hard to pick a favorite, but the top items for us were the duros, duck wings and lamb bacon pasta (think of a twist on carbonara). So yummy!!!

Wow! First time and we will be back! We had the bread service, corn, carrots and duck wings plus both of the desserts! The duck wings and s’more were our favorites along with the delicious mocktails. Our server Ian was fantastic and wonderful to us all evening. It’s so nice to have a place that combines art and food right here in Greensboro!

Machete sets a high bar for food. A very high bar.Im not often flabbergasted with food anywhere large cities and definitely not small towns. But Machete blew my socks off. I actually ordered one dish a second time because it was so divine.It’s not about the simple flavors, it’s about the complexity of execution in ingredient selection, pre work, preparation, cooking and overall flavor combination that can drive something to the extreme. This is only the 2nd meal in 2023 that has delivered that for me. Thank you Machete in Greensboro NC!The meatballs are all I described above a delicate crunch from some magic fry work, perfect consistency, light but present coating, and paired with cherries that added some tartness which paired surprisingly well. One of the best executed small dishes of my life.The duck wings were delectable a bit messy with the dry rub but quite tasty and highly recommendedCocktails very well executedI’m at a loss for words100% approve of Machete.

Amazing!!! Loved the service and had a great date night. Everything we ordered was so fun and amazing. Our favorites were the corn, polenta and gnocchi. Wish I could relive going here for the first time again!
