Linger Longer Steakhouse - Greensboro

An ingenious meal with a grilled Cesar (half shown as we shared), Steak frits, Mac n cheese and a beautiful piece of Wagyu Steak. Amanda at the bar did a great job. Will definitely be back for more!!!

Loved this meal, especially because someone else paid for it. French onion soup was lava hot but delicious finally. Bread and butter a perfect starter. Fillet perfectly boiled, smokey and seasoned well. Grilled asparagus also very smokey. Potatoes, salads and shrimps, the best cocktail sauce I had. Not fast, but I guess that's the name. Refills were not fast enough, and the huge TV above the bar hurts the otherwise wonderful ambience. I'm looking forward to returning to someone else's tab.

Great dishes. Especially the octopus and Passion Fruit dessert.

Cocktails and wine selection were great. Steak was great. The seafood in a few dishes were boiled over and some dishes needed a good amount of salt. The creamy spinach was delicious. It seemed like they were short.

We had a nice dinner tonight. Our server, Matt, was wonderful and went beyond and beyond to explain the different drinks and dishes. My husband had the chicken dish that was probably the best of his kind we ever had. If you have second thoughts to get a chicken dish at a steak place, give it a chance. I chose the scallops that were also very good. We also enjoyed the truffle Mac and cheese and lifted it with the baked Alaska, which was both decadent and delicious. Defines a reservation in advance because they fill in quickly.
