I would give 5 stars to the hardworking employees at the restaurant. They were doing an excellent job. However, I would only give 2 stars to the food as it lacked flavor and needed more seasoning. The cleanliness of the restaurant, especially the food preparation area, would earn 3 stars. Unfortunately, the restrooms were a major disappointment. They lacked basic amenities such as a toilet paper holder, with a roll of toilet paper left on the back of the toilet. The paper towel holder was empty as well, with a roll placed on top. Overall, the hygiene standards in the restrooms were unacceptable.
The guy who made the food was amazing. However, the brown rice wasn't cooked and was crunchy. We went back up and a lady named Bre had the bowl remade but left the rice on their serving line and continued to make Togo orders knowing the rice wasn'tcooked.
I usually opt for the mini bowls at this restaurant for a lighter option, as the regular size bowls are too much for me. However, the last few times I visited, the mini bowls were exceptionally small. I was surprised they could even serve it and charge me for it with a straight face. The flavor was good, but there were only a couple of bites. I typically don't like to complain, but I don't think I'll be returning unless I'm really desperate.
I observed the staff at this restaurant not using gloves while handling food, touching cash, and then going back to prepare food with the same gloves on. They were running low on impossible meat, so an employee had to make a new batch and splashed it all over the counter. When he tried to pick it up with the same gloves that had touched money, I asked him not to because it could be contaminated. After finishing half of my order, he discussed my request with another associate, showing a lack of understanding of proper food handling. I am disappointed by the lack of standards at this restaurant, as some employees are pleasant while others are rude and don't follow proper procedures.
Went there at 9 pm an hour before they close. They don?t have brown rice, no enough chips and out of other items. The chips we got was so salty to eat. Bunch of kids working without a manager to control the store. And store is terribly dirty. You need towatch out because you are losing business.
