Lunch at the Shepparton Club. Reasonable menu with good prices on their specials. Veru quick service. Garlic bread was a bit too moist. Background music was just a little too loud. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Shepparton Club:
Called in for dinner on a solo visit. Large club, with friendly service. I had an Aussie parmi, with chips and salad. It was huge, hot and tasty. Whilst not fine dining, it definitely satisfied my hunger and did the job. View all feedback.
Went for dinner mid week, was very quiet. Staff very friendly. Ordered via the on table Q-Code system which was easy enough. Ordered Garlic Bread and Chicken Parmigiana with chips and salad. Good size entree and meal, very enjoyable. Good selection of well known cold tap beers.
We ordered Singapore noodles that were supposed to have chicken in it, but it was very bland. After we finished our meal, the chef realized the chicken was missing and cooked it separately for us to mix in ourselves. However, even after adding the chicken, the dish remained tasteless. Additionally, we were concerned when the waitress handled the straw from the top, especially during these Covid times.
We had dinner here and we had a great time. The meals were fantastic and the drinks delivery was prompt. We chatted with the locals and made us feel right at home. The wait staff were polite and attentive and the bar staff were also very professional. We had a go on the pokies and had a great few hours of relaxation.
The Club seemed to cater more to locals, as only someone familiar with the area would tolerate the crowded atmosphere and subpar food at the Bistro. I had the grilled fish, which was enjoyable, and the small salad was a pleasant surprise. However, the half chicken parmi with jalapenos was disappointing, with soggy coating and lackluster vegetables. The only redeeming quality was the Proseco. Overall, I wouldn't recommend returning to this restaurant.
Was payday so decided to take the granddaughter out for dinner so she chose The Naked Tree Restaurant was a really nice meal, you do need to be a member of the Shepp Club but was only $5 and you get a $5 voucher towards a drink then you get a discount on meals etc so very good value
