Bagel Man Of Great Neck

During my recent visit to Great Teasing, I was reminded of how much I’ve enjoyed this place over the past 20 years. They serve fantastic breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I ordered a roasted whole bagel topped with two eggs and speck for my son, while my husband had a sausage and cheese sandwich. If you’re really hungry, their "Hungry One" sandwich is a hearty option. The bagels are freshly made and absolutely delicious. Although the restaurant has a new owner, the quality of both the food and service remains excellent.

I've been going to Bagel Man since high school (I graduated in 2011), and the quality has completely declined since their move to a new location. I used to love everything on the menu, especially the bagels. My go-to sandwich was the Flag, with salad, tomatoes, and tuna salad for $12. For that price, I expected more than just a tablespoon of tuna on the sandwich. It seems like this place is trying to shortchange its customers. I won’t be returning to Bagel Man, and I encourage others to think twice as well.

I ordered a delivery from a place that was just 6 minutes away, but they refused to deliver my food. The staff were obnoxious and rude, and to top it off, their bagels were disappointing.

Are we talking about the same place? The Asian Lady at the register takes the order uses a rubber glove to pick the bagel that you ask for, brings it to the chef then places the glove back in her pocket. Gross. The place is run down and not clean at all. I'm not one for complaining of cost but I was charged 5.00 for a bagel, one slice of muenster cheese and a slice of tomato. I've haven't been in the store in some time needless to say extremely disappointed.

Best bagel store and deli in great neck. Been going here for 10+ years and its always consistent.
