Cerveceria-cafeteria Lalameda

We intended only to stop for a quick, cold beer and ended up eating a most delicious meal. We are 4 generations and visiting Benamahoma was a delight on it's own but was made even more pleasant after we found this great place. Friendly and clean, paying attention to the COVID-19 regulations, their terrace was a great place to sit and enjoy the view and the warm welcome. We opted for a couple of half rations off the menu of fried green peppers, tomato salad and potatoes in alioli accompanied by tasty braised Venison. Washed down by a very acceptable Rioja house red, Alhambra beers and soft drinks for the youngest member, we found that the quality of the food was only exceeded by the amazing price! So reasonable...compared to other places. We returned a 2nd night and repeated our meal which was just as good second time around. Price/quality ratio is very good. Foods are typical of the region and not the usual boring fare offered. Can't wait to return in colder weather to experience the log fire and a dish of wild boar! Don't go if you want fancy tables etc....this is a bar the locals flock too....always a good sign. Thoroughly recommend and definitely returning.
