have taken the reserved places at noon and were very kindly welcomed. The menu is easy to understand and clear. that eat excellent, not too sharp and plentiful. no long waiting time. the service very accommodating. The prices are located in the slightly elevated segment, but have finally kept in limits.A good eating in a nice environment. we're coming back! What User doesn't like about Taj Mahal:
we have eaten well in the restaurant and were very satisfied with the dresses. there are deductions for the absolutely non Indian ambiente. also the chief of the house seemed a little merciful. View all feedback.
My son and I visited this restaurant with a bit of understanding after I have read some not so good reviews on travel advisors. but it was convenient next to our hotel, so we decided to try it. I had read that the owner was rude and not so friendly, especially for his own community members. but I didn't really feel that when we left. he seemed friendly and hospitable and tried to go tables to check if everything was in order. we ordered the vegetarian thali, one with naan and the other with roti. the thali came with aloo gobhi, palak paneer, a mixed dhal, some rice with mandling on the top and sweet leti art yogurt. the taste of eating was nothing above average. However, the part of the thiali was generous and we had a flour, at a price of €14.50. What is really horrified to me is that we ordered this thiali twice more during our week long stay. I picked it up from the restaurant once and ordered it at the second time via a food delivery app. at both locations the vegetables were exactly the same, except oiler or the same. I was very dissatisfied in general with the quality of Indian food in graz. I think it may be better suited for the non-European palette
The Taj Mahal is not only one of the oldest (if not the oldest) indian restaurants in Graz, it is considered the best by many locals.
We had four dishes with accompaniments. All but one were terribly bland. One was really indistinguishable from chicken nuggets from McDonalds... I'm not joking. This place has no understanding of Indian food and I would be amazed if the chef was an Indian. If this...is the best Indian restaurant in Graz then I shudder at the thought of visiting any others. The only good things I can mention is that there was no extra charges for chutney, rice, salad or a rather nice kind of yoghurt dipping sauce. Bottom line is that if you have some knowledge of Indian food don't go to the Taj Mahal And if you know nothing about Indian food please don't let this place be your first experience. Takeaway (Take Out) service was very slow.
The food was good, unfortunately the driver should wait for the food before place, because we only got it over an hour later than agreed. it was warm, but we were a little tense.
I am a tribe, because of the taste and quality and the loving staff also in delivery, as always very good in the grazing will be welcomed
