From the road, this restaurant, part of a hotel, looks rather uninspiring. However, the dining room and garden are very pleasant. We sat in the garden for our visit, a nice spot on a summer evening. A good point was the wasp traps which kept the little sodes at bay. Food was excellent, service pleasant if a little formal. Decent wine list with some bargains at the low price end. Worth a visit. service is professional, table dryers are pleasant. I found the menu price a little excessive for what was in the plate, but it was good. (small dish for dessert (small too liquid) with regard to the cabaret, the show gives life to the evening and by the cabaret the restaurant stands out on grey, it is good. Maybe a little vulgar for the young audience. We spent a good night at two. View all feedback.

Bien accueillis dans un restaurant à la décoration sobre et de bon goût. Le foie gras de l entrée était goûteux et bien accompagné de fruits et de miel, la sauce au vin du boeuf était excellente et la viande très tendre. Le filet de truite était également très bon et j ai beaucoup aimé l accompagnement gratin et mix de légumes) .Les personnes qui officiaient au service étaient très sympathiques et agréables.
Two new visits in a few months, and more convinced. the visit of the premire, although I loved the dish, a fish snail (cold freeze). on the other hand, terrine between any size without intrt. twice, not a bad meal. comtoises salads with two mini slices of mortal sausage (cut to millimtre), cheese without drop, radish prsent as on a fair stand (I think we haven't since the half-costs (good cooking) with chicken juice and fries a fried chicken in sum. those who chose the papillote for both fish, a bait too cooked, the other not enough. always as good, really, nothing solves. no bmol on the service, professional and friendly. the problem with this tablation, and that, to the extent that the gargote goes further on the docks, we know what to expect, as much l, without needing gastronomy, we expect a better level of meals. the frame (which could really fancy), the service, not stick with the plate. I prefer the menu of the noon to be only mm this price, can do better

Friday lunch...25.50e for 3 course fantastic fabulous meal. We arrived at 12 noon.. find that it's better to arrive earliy as any Resturant in France once the food is gone..thats it! The Resturant is all set up, and as clean and presentable..the pride is there! Service was really good with the waiter having just enough English for us all to be understood!. A beautiful meal with courses not rushed and the food was excellent. Au Mastroquet sure has the love factor... We will indeed come back here to eat again... Wine chilled well and beers cold. A great place to eat in Gray.
