The Oar & Paddle - Gravenhurst

For this restaurant to be ranked below Dock on the Bay is ridiculous. This place is at best mediocre. We had the calamari and it was the frozen out of a bag kind. The menu on the internet is not the menu at the restaurant. We were told by our server that menu was when they were a fine dining establishment. This is definitely not a fine dining establishment. We were looking forward to going there and afterwards we were looking for some ice cream to clean out out pallets. Very disappointed.

This place never disappoints. Great food, Great quality, food is from scratch. Always make a point to visit when in Muskoka

We visited The Oar and Paddle patio yesterday afternoon and enjoyed a wonderful time!! The food was outstanding but our server Tia made the whole experience that much more special. She is AWESOME! Keep calling them 'wedgies' Tia, and to The Oar & Paddle, please keep flying the flag in support. We will be back. Thank you for a wonderful time! Coming back for Tia and the fish n chips. Mark H.

Sometimes traffic and a detour is necessary. Fish and chips were amazing. Light and flaky with lots of fish. Mussels were a great addition for a meal for two. Both dishes were hot and perfectly cooked. Service was a little slow. But expected on a Monday of a long weekend. We'd come here again.

Best Fish n chips I have had in a while! Excellent staff and atmosphere! Love it! You gotta eat here!
