Hunter's Seafood And Market

We pick up a half dozen #2 steamed crabs and a crab cake every Wednesday maybe some cole slaw as a side.The crabs are excellent, heavy, and spiced/steamed to perfection. The crab cakes will stand up with any other local offerings for taste and consistency but the sheer size says Cut me into 3 piece for sandwiches before pan frying in 1/8 of Canola oil . Very friendly and helpful staff. I purchased softshell crabs, which they told me how to prepare them. They were a great price and turned out delicious. I will definitely go back to Hunter's.

They picked through the bushel of crabs I brought there to get steamed... then tried to keep the bushel basket and then tried to say that the crabs were all in the box they put them in... I will NOT trust them unless I get to watch them. I had an overflowing mixed bushel of crabs and the box was LIGHT, not the same crabs i took there.... but when I told him to dump my crabs back in the basket he said oh there all in this box...

I am a driver for a senior. He loves coming here! Joe, the owner remembered him even though he was unable to come for a few MONTHS. We drive from Annapolis passing many seafood places to get HERE. Because it's absolutely the best! You can't beat there fresh selection of seafood or the amazing service you get while ordering! If you haven't tried Hunter's please do, it's a great experience. Bought a dozen #1s and corn the other day crabs were fantastic and good sized for #1s. The place is clean and smells nice and I will definitely be back.
