The Cocoa Bean Express - Grapevine

My favorite is the chai tea latte, whether hot or cold, which I can enjoy here! It's the perfect spot for a quick break before our meeting and a relaxing stop at the end of the day.

The Kakao Bean is conveniently located right in front of the main lobby, making it easy to find for those in need of a caffeine boost before a long day of meetings. However, it is only open for a short period each day, leading to long wait times of up to 45 minutes. Some of my conference guests ended up missing meetings or arriving late because of this wait. I managed to grab a latte and a roasted pepper burrito during my visit, which cost me around $14 - a bit pricey considering I usually make my own breakfast or grab something quick on the go. Despite the cost, the drink was enjoyable (especially with the added whipped cream) and the burrito was filling and tasty. The location was also convenient for me, as it was situated between my Riverwalk room and the conference areas. I would have visited again if the restaurant was open for longer hours in the afternoon.

The coffee at this place is great, but I was disappointed with the mixed drinks as they only had one size available. They advertised a venti size, but I received a grande cup and was charged $7. When I asked the barista about it, she claimed they only had one large cup when it was clear they had venti sizes available.

Cranberry muffin that would have been really good, except that it was still partially frozen in the middle. no microwave available for nuking.

The people were really friendly as was everyone at The Gaylord. Coffee was really good! Thanks for a really nice start of our day!
