Very nice cocktails, Caipirinha was great and the chips were especially amazing, probably the best I've ever had, considering I'm from Australia and had some good chips in my life. The location is great as well, beautiful beach and great spot to watch sunset. What TequilaPepita doesn't like about Lagoa O Mar:
This beach lounge bar is located right on the Praia de Melides and is the perfect spot for lunch or dinner. The menu on a black board consists of mostly snack dishes which you order and pick up at the counter. There was no table service when we visited. The food served was just about OK. Good location but can’t review it as the owner decided to block the single track road to it with his car as we +wheelchair bound friend) approached and wouldn’t reverse 20m to let us get to the bar. Apparently only he is allowed to use the road. No-one else. Especially visitors.Turns out he’s the only Portuguese guy I’ve met in 3 years of visiting Alentejo that is rude, obnoxious and devoid of manners. They say a business reflects the owner’s character.

Restaurante com vista perfeita para a praia. Ótimo para assistir o pôr do sol. A praia também é muito bonita e limpa.
