Green Island Beach - Grand Sable

One of the very best restaurants on the island. I and my husband had big expectations because of great reviews. And it met our expectations. Great service and great food and also it is super close to Shangri-La where we are staying during holiday. You must go visit if you are staying close!

We've been 3 times; twice for drinks and last night for dinner. The menu covers a range of local dishes and pasta, all sensibly priced. Service is typically very friendly and staff were happy to answer any questions about the menu. One of us had chicken in a honey glaze which was a good sized breast fillet (no bones) and both our meals were very nicely cooked. We will go back if we get a chance.

Loved it so much the restaurant is close to Shangri La hotel, which is extremely expensive, so this restaurant was so nice to visit for such a decent price! We had the best service, delicious fresh food, kind and very helpful staff. I would 100% recommend it. The giant prawns, lamb chops and calamari were so beautiful! Thank you so much again!

Third time here. Food ALWAYS good. Service is great. Local place, not expensive. Staff are lovely. Sea view. Clean. Various menu with fresh fish, salad, curry, seafood all very good.

This place has my vote as the best restaurant in Mauritius. You’re talking about fresh food, cooked well, and a very, very reasonable price. Mauritius can be a money pit if I want for these kind of places. The location is amazing. The service is great and the food was just wow. Step away from your hotel, and treat yourself for a real good food and enjoy Mauritian hospitality.
