Smashburger - Grand Rapids

Best olive burger I've had in a while. Haystack onions are delicious. Salted caramel shake is even better! Service is not always great. Sometimes pretty slow even. The food is worth the wait. UPDATE: They no longer have the olive burger:

It's been a little while since my last visit, but I remember it quite well. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with avocado and bacon. I can't remember the name of the sandwhich in particular. It was pretty good, but not great, definitely not worth the price I paid.I remember thinking I could get a sandwhich of equal quality at Wendy's for half the price. The fries here are REALLY good though, which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 3. Customer service was also really good; the cashier was very kind, as well was the person who brought out my food.

The team at this Smash burger location is excellent. I had the bacon grill burger and the buffalo and blue cheese burger, both of which were really delicious. The fries were also quite tasty. The only reasons I'm not giving them five stars are that the smash fries were a bit oily (though still very good), and the seating area in the food court is just what you would expect. The quality of the food and the flavor combinations are impressive. I often visit this place and will continue to do so—it's the only spot in the food court where I want to eat. Keep up the great work!

I spent a week at Butterworth Hospital and needed a decent place to eat, as the hospital cafeteria left much to be desired. I ended up trying the burgers here, and they were fantastic! I had the Michigan burger first, which was loaded with green olives—delicious! The second time, I went for the BBQ bacon burger, and it was just as great. I also tried the fries, which were tasty as well. The restaurant is located in a lovely atrium-style food court within the Spectrum Butterworth hospital complex. Overall, the BBQ bacon cheeseburger was super fresh and delicious—definitely a great alternative to hospital food!

The food was absolutely delicious! The burger was amazing—rich and flavorful. It was a fantastic meal overall. The prices were reasonable, and the location at Helen DeVos is perfect for everyone. There are plenty of options for all tastes. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!
