Smackwater Jacks - Grand Bay

We heard a lot of mixed reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised! The food was awesome, and the service was even better. The patio has a really cool atmosphere, and it was a great dining experience. The food was maybe on the more expensive side, but we thought it was well worth it.

We have a reservation for 7:00 and came there and waited 15 minutes to talk to someone who then told us they don't take any more online reservations. they immediately took our group of 7 but they were short workers and a waitress did not come for 20 minutes. they were made of a lot of food like eisburg salat, pots and side vests. the food came to various times very mediocre. I wouldn't come back.

Very nice atmosphere at the sea, large selection of craft beer, busy evening, not enough staff, but very apologetic, eating was freshly good portions. nice complementary dessert for the zelebrant. go back.

2 months ago I made reservations to sit on the water. when we were the blonde hostess there (name? was a complete spaz that ran around everywhere and told us that we had to find somewhere else. she was completely rude and unwilling. our waitress was abby or ally, she was brilliant and took the time to clean a table on the water. her service was fabulous. the square stools on which they sit are awfully uncomfortable. I ordered a lobster roll. it had a terrible spicy that made it bitter and I am sure it was white fish and not praised. I had a lot of lobsters, and that tasted nothing like praise. Apart from the point of view of the water, there was nothing outstanding at this restaurant and I would not recommend it or back. only one note: when I left, I stopped at the bar to change as a US dollar shock. when the barmaid returned it to Canada, I said I forgot that I would come back from Canada, but that was ok. However, that the same blonde hostess / waitress spoke up and said well they are in Canada . I did not have to be reminded of the obvious this rude person, I only gave a comment.

We were happy to sit at the river and enjoy the night. everything we ordered was delicious. our only complicity was our server, which was heavy, hurried and uninterested. Thank you.
