Old Goulburn Brewery Hotel

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant in June 2015 to celebrate his 40th birthday. We went on the ghost tour and had dinner, and they even provided transportation to and from our hotel with their shuttle bus since we didn't have our own. We enjoyed a delicious meal and tried the ales made in-house by the brewery. We were in the company of a small group of friendly people who were also on the tour. Our hostess was delightful and made the evening unforgettable. Thank you for a great experience! xo

I arrived at the correct address and found the car park to be too muddy and slippery. It did not seem safe to walk to the main building, which appeared to be the "Inviting Entrance" to the Brewery. Seeing no other cars in the car park, I made the decision to go elsewhere. It was clear that the establishment needed significant improvements in order to attract more tourists.

I attended a wedding reception at this charming venue with high expectations, only to be disappointed with the overall experience. While the main course of roast dinner was delicious, the starters were lacking in portion size and quality. The establishment appeared rundown and the path to the restrooms was hazardous. The drinks were expensive with limited options, including only one choice of light beer. Even a soft drink was priced as if it were a premium brand. This location could benefit from more attention and investment from those who are truly passionate about running a successful restaurant.
