I stumbled upon Cinema Café by accident while exploring the area in search of an affordable meal. The restaurant's unique interior design, resembling an old school theatre with movie posters and film props, caught my attention. The menu was creatively designed like a film strip and the food had a homemade taste to it. I tried the oil-free chicken biryani, which was light on the stomach. I have returned to Cinema Café multiple times since then and have enjoyed their flavorful and pocket-friendly dishes. I recommend asking the waiter about any special dishes of the day, as they often prepare unique items that don't last long. Cinema Café is a great option for those looking for a unique dining experience or just a reliable spot for a regular meal.
The restaurant has a cinematic ambience, decorated with posters of the latest movie releases from nearby theaters. The service is quick and top-notch, and the prices are affordable without compromising on quality. While the sambar could be improved, the chicken biriyani is said to be prepared without oil. The kanji is inexpensive, straightforward, delicious, and has a comforting homemade flavor.
Tucked away near to the busy High court area this place caught my fancy for its name and outside ambiance since it was around lunch time gave it a go, however was in for a surprise when I walked in. The interior was set to the current movies playing in the theaters music too match it too. The menu looked just the ordinary my choice was a chicken biryani on arrival I found the difference it was served with all the traditional touchings of date pickle, pappad and a slice of pineapple which is never seen any where else. The taste was superb and when the meal was finished what struck me was that the very less residue of oil on my fingers. The place is super clean, humble and no dishes above Rs.100/-...Superb
