Hayfield Family - Gore

I used to visit this restaurant with my family when I was a child, and I was really looking forward to bringing my own kids here. Unfortunately, the chicken tenders my child ordered were cold, and we hardly received any refills during our meal. When we spoke to the waitress about our concerns, we didn't get much of a response. We decided to just pay our bill and leave. It's disappointing to see how much things have changed.

I tried the meat special, and it was absolutely delicious! The staff was very friendly, and the service was quick. The prices are unbeatable too. I will definitely be returning!

I usually evaluate family-style food based on their chicken strip dinner. The chicken was tasty, but it was slightly overcooked. On the other hand, the fried chicken dinner that was ordered as well wasn't as overdone. All the side dishes were enjoyable, but if you're a fan of chicken and gravy, be sure to ask for extra gravy!

Here during the franklin county farm crawl. really impressed by the quality of the food, portion size and price. friendly staff was very courteous of two small children who are picky foods. would they visit here again if they continued to drive through.
