It's great to see local bars springing up like this for the local residents to enjoy and this place is doing it well. Two sisters wine bar provides local wine and generally locivore style food at reasonable prices. I like to go there after work, especially on a Friday afternnoon when the sun is low in the sky. It's also great for a snack before or after a movie at the local Capri. If you wanna miss the busyness of Ki... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Two Sisters Food and Wine:
Where do I start. Menu was lacklustre and food was clearly not fresh. I received a glass of bubbles, god only knows how long the bottle had been open for... When I received it and it was as flat as a tack and I asked for a replacement glass... I was refused and asked to pay for a second! Disgraceful.I found the venue extremely disappointing. Oh, I also had 3 strands of hair about 15cm long on my pizza too. View all feedback.
After watching a movie at the Capri cinemas, we stopped by for a glass of wine at this charming little bar on the corner. The staff was friendly and the wine list was impressive. We definitely plan on returning!
How is it possible that this place was not checked? I'm here, next door a movie night in Capri and two sisters food and wine is the easiest for us. Amazzzzzzing service, but more importantly, their pizzas are exalted. Lamb and mushrooms are two you need to order. They also seemed to have an extensive wine list (I don't drink) a Nicole, owner is friendly and great to suggest the right things. Love it
Quaint with character, lovely little spot with excellent service and options on the menu. I'd return, especially if visiting the nearby theatre. Free wifi with good signal strength and speed.
This is one of those times when 3.5 stars would have been more appropriate. I like Two Sisters for its setting and relaxed vibe. The (red) wine list hasn't changed in a long while though if it did, then the changes were marginal. This is a pity as I used to like trying different wine by the glass with every visit.
SO....just had a rather disturbing experience at a community event, on the side street on which this business is sited. Two Sisters had a stall in front of their entrance where a pleasant young woman was serving drinks (including gin with other added ingredients eg ice cubes, slices of dried fruit etc). Sitting at an adjacent table, I watched as one of the business owners emerged holding a delightful puppy, which the staff member proceeded to pat. As I would have! However, the staff member immediately returned to her stall, with no caution from the owner, and to my horror, proceeded to prepare a drinks order by using her bare, unwashed hands to handle ice etc. The owner then sat down, still holding the puppy, at the table near us. Again, the staff member approached and patted the puppy for a minute or two. She began to return to her duties at the stall. When I realised that the owner was again, not acting on what was a breach of hygiene practice, I pleasantly and quietly said to the staff member, I think you should wash your hands before serving people . Not a word from the owner. The staff member responded appropriately, acknowledging that she should do what I suggested, and vanished into the business premises hopefully, to wash her hands. We remained at our table for a further 1/2hour, and there was nothing said to me by the business owner about what had transpired. I am really disappointed in the apparent disinterest by this business in basic hygiene procedures. I live nearby and have previously been there (though put off by the noise levels), on the basis of supporting the local community. But I no longer trust what I might eat or drink there. I look forward to being reassured by the business that what happened today was not usual practice.
