What User doesn't like about Mariners Cove:
was recommended by the cruise captain and was surprised that it was not very high. the first problem is the chaotic order that was simply free for everyone. my partner choice was fresh garnel that were nice, but unstoppable not great when you were his next. the water. I had barra and chips. it was exactly what I expected, partly was small, but ok. maybe kovid affects all aspekte in these days, but would recommend to... View all feedback.
A great day. such beauty. boats, jet skis restsurants great n chips beautiful sunsets. a great way to spend a lazy afternoon. take everything in. enjoy their time, eat, drink, look at the bay.
My food sat on the counter for several minutes without my order number being called or anyone seeming to do anything about it. When I went to retrieve it, I saw the owner in the back room taking a leisurely break from work. When I tried to get her attention, she just threw the chips at me as if she couldn't wait for me to leave so she could have a cigarette break. In short, my one word assessment: "Fail."
Nothing better than good fishing n chips on a sunny day. their fish of the day are very good, tender and sweat, we always have our crumbed. there can be a long wait for lunch, but it is worth waiting. the chips are good. But...what is best is the beautiful row from outside sitting with views of the marina and water. they can wash it with an alcoholic drink if they need it. very good value for money
I would never go back to the fish and chips shop or recommend it. The fish and chips were terrible - the fish was burnt and had to be sent back, but even after another try, it was still overcooked and disgusting. The potato cake didn't even have any potato in it, just batter. I suggest trying the much better and cheaper fish and chips meals at the Tavern next door.
I stayed at the YHA and explored the nearby cafes and shops. I enjoyed grabbing coffee at Main Street and Hogs Breath, but it was frustrating that Ezymart always seemed to be closed whenever I needed something, even in the morning with just a "on break" sign. Despite that, I would definitely visit again.
