I had the pleasure of dining in this Resturant a few times for lunch but wanted to reserve my review till I tried a few different meals. I come up with the same opinion and that is that George never fails me with his food and impeccable service. From the crisp white and Blue linen to the decor I rate them 100%.The reason why I go for lunch is because at lunchtime the prices are 50 % off the dinner prices. What User doesn't like about George's Paragon Waterfront Seafood Rest:
Set right on the water, this HUGE restaurant offers many tables, great setting and pretty lighting. It specialises in fish however the menu was very extensive, which is sometimes not a good sign.I had the market fish - moroccan kingfish. It was hot, I would have said the fat needed changing as the chips didnt taste good and the fish was overcooked and not that spicy. My husband had the seafood platter and it came out... My favourite main is Veal fungi and dessert is the Creme Brûlée which is always the highlight of my visit to Georges
We had interstate visitors and thought we would try Georges for a change. I tried to book was not allowed ' instead we queued and i though this would be a put off, the line moved very quickly and we were escorted to a table and the order was taken by a charming and very efficient waitress. The decor was a bit over the top but the overall ambience was very good. The meals were spectacular the chef does know how to prepare a rare steak. The bill was remarkable and would have gladly paid more for the meal and the ambience.
Georges is a sort of novel restaurant which serves up pretty good Greek style dishes. They have an early special if you get seated before 5.30pm. I would recommend this place for selection and value.

It was fresh and hot but the bugs were over cooked.Oysters to start were very fresh, we didnt have dessert..there was nothing wrong, it's just not fine dining
Georges is an old standby chain of Greek restaurants. The food selection is pretty reasonable, and the prices are ok for the quality. Service can be pretty ordinary at times, but all in all,an OK experience.
