The Charterhouse Arms has recently reopened, and it truly feels like a gem! It has been renovated into a genuine pub, complete with functional tables and greatly improved seating. The real ale is well-kept, and they offer all the usual amenities you'd expect. The menu is fabulous and affordable, and you can tell the chef really cares about the food. Great selection of beverages! Neckoil being the top of list in my eyes. The pub interior is fantastic. The most welcoming pub I think I've actually ever been in. It's a nice pit stop if you're on the motorcycle or passing in general. Highly recommend.
