Ended up in Spytty Newport so called into Costa for a quick bite before lots of shopping. Spytty Costa was larger than others I frequently go to but still a great atmosphere and plenty of people around at 9am. Great coffee and selection of hot/cold food and yummy cakes/pastries. Staff are very pleasant and the place is spotless as are all the others. Well done Costa! View all feedback.
What Tallisite doesn't like about Costa Coffee:
Agonisingly slow on a Sunday morning before the next door Tesco Extra store had opened. It must have taken over 15 minutes for the two staff to produce an Americano coffee, with the surprisingly patient queue extending out the door and moving forward at glacial speed. Costa is my 2nd home I love it , and the staff are friendly
It's Costa, it always works for me. The staff seemed a little stressed, but maybe I just got them on an off day.
The service is wonderful as always : and the drinks were amazing
The biggest thing that let's this costa down is cleanliness, especially the toilets
Reliable Coffee and Snacks from Costa, new Brownie Mocha was good! Service here was fairly slow for an afterwork time as only one barista taking orders and making drinks.
