The rating is not about the hotel, but the only restaurant. the place is historical, the magnificent location, in the main square of a village that is a real medieval jewel. outdoor tables and a pleasant interior with vaulted ceilings, a mix of restaurant for tourists and bar for local adventurers. we dined inside, in a corner of the bar room, with features and uneasy presences, at the bar, local customers, now at the n ° glass of red wine. the kitchen, in the center of the area for quality and price, is not bad, but the invasion of the flies made in the evening a continuous struggle to defend the dish, the basket of bread, the drinks, from the annoying insects. I understand the stables nearby, the summer period, but there is a limit to everything. considering that we had dinner inside, it is not possible that we did not find a solution to eliminate flies, flying between the tables, dotted the white ceiling, wandering around the chandeliers. vote 3, but it should be mediated between the 4 assigned to the position and the kitchen and the absolute zero of the management of this hygienic problem. During our visit to glorenza, we stopped at lunch in this place which is easily located, overlooking the central square of the picturesque village. its outdoor tables and in the shadow invite you to stop. we ate well, typical things of the territory with a right price quality ratio.

I go every year on the road to Switzerland. Honest food with nice WienerSchnitzel and good quality Tagliata but also Schutzkrapfen, their hand made ravioli, and eventually game. Service efficient. They accept pets. Very good value for money. I normally pay for a one course meal with side salad soft drink and coffee around 20 euros.. During the summer there is a dozen of tables outside in the main square. Fantastic views

Just passing Glorenza and stopped for lunch. A s it was a warm day we sat outside and despite being busy the service and the food were good and one could observe the interesting atmosphere of the busy little square.

We were not staying at the hotel but were able to make a breakfast reservation anyway food was great and so was the service.
