Spruce Burl Espresso - Glennallen

This cute little place is worth a stop. Options were sparce for the vegetarian in our group, but the options in the build your own worked well for all of us. Everything was fresh, freshly cooked, and toasty hot when given to us. We got both burritos crepes, and they were all delicious. It took a while to cook up all our items, but well worth the wait! Price was good also.

Perfect place for a morning pit stop. Going from Tok to Anchorage today and left very early to make it to Anchorage early. Again between the eight of us we had a little of everything. From burritos to crepes to French toast sticks it was all delicious. The choices were amazing for a little place in the middle of no where. The folks working (who I assumed were the owners) were so kind and helpful. Time your travel so you can stop here. It's well worth it.

Don 't waste your $8.25 on a 16 oz drink- where we had to play does this have espresso? Total RIP off. area has an ice shortage and barista not notifying hey your ICED drink will have 5 ice cubes and be warm. Glen Allen or not $8.25 is outrageous.

What a delightful find on the road from Tok to Anchorage. I stopped at the Tesoro for fuel and didn't want one of those packaged sandwiches in the display case. While leaving, I saw this tiny drive-through space next door with coffee, crepes, and other fresh foods. Give it a shot. At the suggestion of the friendly person taking my order, I got the Sunrise Burrito. Absolutely incredible. Fresh and hot with sausage, eggs, hash browns, red and yellow bell peppers, and cheese. Perfectly seasoned and delicious. I paired it with an Americano, which had a wonderful flavorful espresso. The food is prepared to order, so expect to wait a bit, but they have a couple of windows so they keep it moving.

Super nice service from this little parking lot stand. It's in the gas station parking lot and has a drive thru and a walk up. The coffee is well priced and pretty good for the location.
