While some reviewers found the portion size to be small for the price, others praised the authenticity and taste of the food. Friendly service, prompt attention, and helpful staff contribute to a positive dining experience. The banquet menu is recommended for those who want to try a variety of dishes without the hassle of decision-making. Noise levels can be a bit high when the restaurant is busy, but the owner is working to address this issue. Overall, The Ottoman Grill is a hidden gem worth discovering for a delightful Turkish dining experience.
I spoke with the cook omar who was very helpful to determine what vegan options were. we had fresh hummus and Turkish brot, veggie pide (ordered without cheese), and filled aubergine with Turkish rice and salat. all so delicious and fresh. there are also Turkish delite available that could be vegan, but I have not confirmed.
I had a conversation with the chef, Omar, who was incredibly helpful in guiding me towards vegan options on the menu. We enjoyed fresh hummus served with Turkish bread, a veggie pide without cheese, and stuffed eggplant with Turkish rice and salad. Everything was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Additionally, they offer Turkish delight, which may be vegan, but I did not verify.
On a bustling Saturday night, we received friendly service that was a bit faster than we expected, with extra assistance in choosing a wine. Opting for the banquet option eliminated the need to make tough decisions on what to order. The platter of six dips was generous and tasty, accompanied by excellent bread. The mixed grill main dish was tender and flavorful, featuring a delightful combination of chicken, beef, meatballs, rice, and veggies. The baklava was light and scrumptious. Although the noise from a nearby table was a bit intrusive until they left, the owner is working on ways to reduce it. Overall, this restaurant has become a new favorite for me.
I was disappointed with the portion size of the food that was served. The banquet, priced at $29 per person (with a minimum of 2 people), was small, and the pizza was expensive for the quantity received.
Dissapointed with the amount of food served, the banquet for (min of was very small and pizza expensive for what you get
