Contribute FeedbackDespite a few negative reviews, Bay of Bengal seems to offer a mix of experiences. While some diners were disappointed with the food quality and prices, others praised the restaurant for its authentic Indian dishes, friendly service, and pleasant ambience. One diner highlighted the great recommendations and delicious lamb saag, while another appreciated the entertainment card discount. Although the service might have been lacking during some visits, many still found the food to be superb and worth the higher prices. Overall, Bay of Bengal seems to cater to a variety of tastes and preferences, making it a recommended choice for those looking for more than just your average Indian dining experience.
Very strange kitchen. Our chicken and fish dishes did not taste like any Indian food I ever tasted. fish pieces swim in red liquid the resistance of water. saaghun, which tasted like a cassole that would make her oma. oily naan and poppadoms. avoid this place when they are looking for Indian tasting. very disappointing.
Bad service, came 10 minutes before our booking, which was 7.15, we were accidentally set on a table for 4 and moved to a table of 2 that was good, the table for 4 that came after us drinks immediately, we were still waiting for water, they had eaten their main thing before we had received our appetizers, we did not leave until 9.05, did not order starter when they were in a hurry. very disappointed by the bland butter huhn and chicken masala, which also tasted brewed. toilets were a chaos. overpriced, glad we had an entertainment voucher.
Dined here on a Sunday evening service pleasant, although a bit lacking. informed that the device had just changed the hands, so maybe a problem. perhaps pricier than their average Indian restaurant, we have a few unusual dishes (not boring butterflies etc). eating is absolutely excellent. Decor atmosphere is pleasant in tune with the standard. Although we byo’d, the weelist showed some interesting inexpensive offers. would be difficult to find better Indian food. recommended for everyone with discriminatory taste. not your average Indian.
Absolutely delicious Indian eating an oldie but a goodie with wonderful service. decoration is dated, but contributes to the Indian charm experience.
What a disappointment this restaurant was. The food was average to say the least. $8.50 for a $2 bottle of water. The 4 of us walked out hungry and dismayed that dinner was $150 total Sorry but never again. My 1st review that's been a negative.
