What The Seitanist doesn't like about Din Tai Fung:
Honestly I found most of the vegan options to be pretty bland, with the exception of the Shanghai rice cakes, which still could have used more sauce and some kind of seasoning. Every vegan option for the dumplings and wonton have exactly the same filling, so don't bother ordering too many different things. Even the hot chilli vegan wontons were bland.. I couldn't taste chilli at all would eat here again in a pinch,... View all feedback.
Wow wow I have tried ma y good food I worked for Shesiado all the girls were eithertaiwanese Chinese Vietnamese and took to the best of the best so far this was the best wonton soup shine pork I've ever had going back next week w/my son he is a celebrity chef for the Oscers
Waiting time was about 45 mins but worth the wait. The waiter was superb and really knew his job. Very professional. Food arrived fast and hot. It was all very good indeed.

Highly recommend braised beef soup spicy, shrimp and pork dumplings, fried rice with chicken. Service was excellent.
My boyfriend never waits in line for food (or drives out of his way for a restaurant) so I knew when we spent an hour in the car getting here and 45min waiting for a table that this must be good. UNREAL! Impossibke to find authentic Taiwanese cuisine where we live and I will continue to go out of my way for these dumplings. Also the pork and shrimp wonton soup was the best I've ever had anywhere!
