New England Motor Lodge - GLEN INNES

I highly recommend this motel. We stayed in the three-bedroom unit with four adults and three children and found it to be clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helped us change our plans. The restaurant in front of the motel served delicious meals in a welcoming atmosphere. It's conveniently located near cafes and shops on the main street. Whether you're staying for a few nights or a longer period, book here and enjoy your time in Glen Innes and the surrounding area.

I visited this restaurant for dinner one evening. The service was very impressive, the room exceeded my expectations, and the food was incredible. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely return in the future.

After returning from Melbourne in mid-January, we decided to extend our trip back to Brisbane by three nights instead of two, as driving for long periods can be tiring. We stayed in Glen Innes and chose the New England Motor Lodge primarily for its restaurant. Typically, we opt for a budget motel and dine at a local RSL or pub, but this time we wanted a comfortable accommodation with excellent dining options as the highlight of our vacation. We were not disappointed. The staff greeted us warmly, our room was spacious with a comfortable bed, and the food was truly exceptional. We spent some time in the bar, enjoying a glass of wine and receiving top-notch recommendations from the waiter on what to order. He warned us that the portions were quite large, which added to our overall satisfaction. My wife suggested that we make it an annual tradition to stop at the New England Motor Lodge on our way back to Brisbane, like a date night for us, a happy and long-married couple.

We stayed for a week in the motel, it was extensively renovated and the rooms are immaculate! good the stars they have received. we were also in the situation, breakfast and dinner at some places that were not disappointed. we had. with the iron benny with laughs, the salmon bag and the crushed avo break. absolutely amazing! and the dinner was also not disappointed, fast and friendly service and meals were perfect size and personal were very attentive. could not give up the chicken parmy! was succulent and probably one of the best I had! the lamb was also amazing and the huh piccata is to die. overall an amazing stay and will be back in spite of it! could not recommend higher in glen innes!

Had a nice starter half a dusin oysters fitspatrick. Glass of WA red was also nice, ordered the rump steak medium rare, mashed potatoes and Mediterranean veggies and pepper sauce. Fairly standard fare. First the presentation was ordinary. The veggies which were the best part...of the meal was plonked underneath everything else, then the mash , the steak on top, everything drowned in the ordinary sauce. Looked pretty ordinary. The steak was burnt it tasted like charcoal right through even as I tried to cut the outside of it still tasted burnt.
